I have worked in manufacturing for over 35+ years, and for the last 15 years, I have been a consultant applying the practical aspects of business transformation.

What particularly motivates me is engaging all organisation levels, from the shop-floor to senior management, in making a significant difference in the performance of both themselves and the value stream they work within. I also like to make this process fun which I think is an aspect of change management that is often missed; there is nothing like a dash of humour to oil the wheels of change and engagement!

Over the years, I have gained extensive experience in implementing continuous improvement methods across the End to End Supply Chain. This has ranged from the application of TPM at shop- floor level, Lean deployment across entire factories, WCM support at Blue Chip company corporate level and the deployment of End to End Supply chain programmes. I particularly enjoy drawing upon the experiences that I have gained both as an employee and a consultant in a wide variety of companies and industries.

At Henkan, I enjoy working with a team of likeminded individuals who want to make a difference in the clients’ capability and themselves. As the Managing Director, I enjoy the strategic influence that the role allows, building effective client relationships and identifying opportunities to make a difference. The key to all this is to leave a trail of success in our clients’ eyes that has resulted in the growth of Henkan predominantly based upon reputation and referrals.

My greatest focus in my spare time is my family with 3 daughters living in 3 different locations in the UK; it doesn’t give much time (or money) for much else!  I also enjoy sailing, particularly in hotter climes when you can drift off and fully relax…. Ah, now there’s thought may be time to book another trip to the Med’.

The Henkan Team have made a significant contribution to the progressive success of the Heineken TPM programme over the last 3 years. As a valued partner for change, they have supported us through the transfer of their knowledge and experience using a practical, passionate and engaging approach.
